In "Ocean in a Teacup", the songs tell the true story of an American pacifist in India during World War Two and the woman who loved him. Here is a video featuring the musical "hooks", and nothing but the "hooks", to those songs. These clips come from the performance of Ocean in a Teacup at the Next Step Theatre Festival in June 2025.

"BEST IN THIS LAND": Thomas Anderson, a pacifist during World War II, arrives in India to serve as a Red Cross medic. He is deeply moved by a sense that a great destiny awaits him there. This longing will be fulfilled in a way he could never have anticipated.

"ONE GREAT LOVE SONG": Julia finds out that Thomas has been lying to her and that he has quit the Red Cross and disappeared. Remembering the power of their passion helps her make the decision to go to India to find him.
